Better Visual Clarity

Regular Sofmed® breathables™ lenses are designed to enhance nearsighted or farsighted vision quality by minimizing an optical imperfection¹ commonly found in eyes.² Toric styles have additional features that ensure a stable, comfortable fit for eyes with astigmatism. Multifocal technology helps presbyopic eyes see clearly at all distances using multiple correction zones.

Daily Comfort

Eyes stay clear and white thanks to advanced lens features that deliver the high levels of oxygen eyes need.³ Plus our industry-leading moisture technology, combined with high water content, helps keep lenses moist, supporting excellent all-day comfort.

Frequently asked
questions

I've never had contacts before. How do I get a trial pair?

Make a contact lens exam appointment online or call 1-800-TWO-PAIR to schedule an appointment with an independent doctor of optometry. Following your exam, America's Best associates will walk new contact lens wearers through a training session using your trial diagnostic lenses. After wearing your trial diagnostic pair for about a week, customers must return to the store for a contact lens evaluation to receive their finalized prescription.

Can I use my glasses prescription for a contact lens prescription?

Glasses prescriptions and contact lens prescriptions are not the same. A contact lens prescription includes contact lens brand name, base curve, and diameter which are not components of an eyeglass prescription. Contact lenses sit directly on the eye whereas glasses are worn on the bridge of the nose. The distance between these two spaces dramatically changes the level of correction for each type.

Do I have to get another eye exam if I already have a contact lens prescription?

We make things easy for you at America's Best. Patients can use your own prescription; you don't need to see one of the independent doctors of optometry at America's Best to order contacts. However, a current, valid prescription is required to purchase contact lenses. Be sure to give us your doctor’s contact information or upload a copy of your prescription so it can be verified before your order is filled.

How much does a contact lens exam cost?

Contact lens exams cost $119, but customers can join the Eyecare Club for $129 to get 3 years of contact lens exams (up to 2 per year), as well as discounts on contacts and eyeglasses!

The Eyecare Club is not valid in California. For offers in California, click here.

How are your prices so much lower than other retailers?

America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses is the low-price leader in a highly competitive eyewear market with more than 800 high-volume retail stores located across the U.S. Because we purchase a very high volume of eyeglass frames from manufacturers, we're able to negotiate unheard-of low prices from our vendors. Then we pass those savings on to our customers!

Does America’s Best accept vision insurance?

Yes! For in-store purchases, we accept most vision insurance plans including EyeMed, Spectera, Superior Vision, Davis Vision. Many stores also accept a variety of regional vision insurance plans. Please contact your local store for additional details. For online orders, we do not accept vision insurance as payment for orders. We provide a receipt which can be submitted to your insurance company as an Out-of-Network purchase. Make sure you consult with your insurance provider before you place your order to determine whether they reimburse or have limits for out-of-network purchases.

Note: Your vision plan may be provided by a different carrier than your health insurance.
